Who are you?

I'm Aaron Glotfelter. I am an internationally known erotic hypnotist. I do this professionally, and have done so since the turn of the millineum. I run several websites including: Hypnosis Fetish, HypnoSlave, HypnoGames and HypnoFocus. (All are NSFW)

My main online pseudonym is HypnoFocus, and aglot21 is my yahoo id that I've had for about 10 years now.

I have a Live Journal and both a personal and professsional MySpace profile. Additionally, I have a professional blog for my business at HypnoFocus.com.

The LJ is personal, and as such contains a lot of non-sense, emotional venting, and from time to time complaining. On the other hand, sometimes it contains cool travel logs, insights in to my personality and funny jokes. There is a saying, "If you like eating at your favorite restaurant, don't go in to the kitchen." My LJ is kind of like my kitchen.

My personal myspace page contains a lot of my interests and likes and dislikes, if you're interested in that sort of thing. I don't accept invitations there unless I know you in real life. My professional myspace page is pretty much open to anyone who is not spam, a bot, or annoying.

Please keep in mind, that while in general I welcome conversations with people, at any specific moment I might not. I'm an extremely busy person, and there are a number of demands on my time. However, if you follow the following guidelines, in most cases the conversation will be well received.

First, I prefer to talk to people who are 18 years of age and older. I'm an adult, I'm in the adult line of work, I live in an adult world. Not to be a jerk, but I simply have no interest in anyone under the age of 18.

Second, I'm a pretty public figure in my corner of the Internet. There are numerous photgraphs of me, and well over a hundred hours of video footage with me in it. I have a Live Journal where I share a lot of my internal thoughts, as well as a number of websites where I share my official thoughts. As such, I assume that anyone who wants to speak with me already has some familiarity with me. On the other hand, in most cases, I have absolutely no idea who you are.

As such, I prefer if people start a conversation with me by introducing themselves. Who are you? What is your name? How old are you? What is your gender? A rough idea of where you are geographically, that sort of thing. This will help me to place you in to context, and that will make me more interested in the conversation.

Even so, as a general rule, I don't trust people that I don't know. Just because someone says they are something, doesn't necessary make it true. Furthermore, I am extremely suspicious of anyone who hasn't left any footprints on the internet. If you have a website, or a Live Journal, or a Myspace profile, or at least a picture of yourself posted on the web somewhere, this will go a long way in establishing to me that you are who you say you are, and will give me a much better idea of who you are. Also, I probably won't accept that you are female, if you are female, until I've seen you in real time (via cam or in real life) or heard your voice in real time (via skype, telephone or in real life). I've noticed that there's a lot less guys pretending to be women on the Interent these days (as well as a lot more women on the Internet these days), but old habits die hard.

Most common question: Are you a hypnotist?

Yes.

Second most common question: So... can you like, hypnotize people?

Yes.

Yes. In one on one work I prefer women. Couples are okay. Single guys, probably not. If I'm not interested in working one on one with you, then come to one of my shows and get hypnotized. I announce them on HypnoFocus.com. 18 years of age and older, only.

Fourth most common question (usually phrased as an order): Teach me how to hypnotize.

Read my websites and watch my videos. Everything I know and do is there. I've spent the better part of a decade filming and authoring. I do performance for a living, I am not a school teacher.

I'm a friendly guy, and I like to be accessable, but at the same time, I'm a very busy man. It will save us both a lot of time if you familiarize yourself with my work before sending me a message for the first time.

I'm a woman and I'm interested in being hypnotized online, being hypnotized in person, or being in one of your videos.

That's great. However, I'm going to want to see pictures of you (more than one), and I'm going to want to speak with you over the telephone. If you're not able to do this, then you are either being untruthful to me in some way, or are unwilling to make the level of commitment necessary to have my interest.
